An international award-winning architectural and interior design studio is hiring a Director of Business Development to drive growth in global markets. This is an office-based role in Miami, FL.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or equivalent professional degree in Business, Real Estate, Economics, Marketing, or Architecture
• MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in a business development role of increasing responsibility in design arch, consulting, or real estate
• Existing global network and understanding of luxury market trends and drivers
• Proven experience acquiring a mix of large-scale business contracts, inclusive of high-end hotels, resorts, and residential projects
• A passion for design with exceptional presentation and management skills
• A mix of US and international experience preferred
• Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Able to work well under pressure, leading by example
• A true team-player that leaves ego at the door
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Excellent communication skills in the English language
Responsibilities:
• Pursue strategic opportunities with hotel brands, developers, and private investors
• Lead RFP prep and negotiations
• Mentor and manage a junior business development team
• Cultivate current client relationships and lead new business efforts
• Participate in firm-wide growth strategy with executive leadership to expand a global portfolio
