Job Title: Antitrust Public Entity Litigation Attorney
Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced litigator to join its Public Entity Litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on landmark cases involving antitrust and consumer protection issues brought by government entities. The position centers on high-stakes matters such as litigation against major corporations for public health, data misuse, and environmental harm. Duties:
Collaborate with senior attorneys to identify and analyze potential antitrust and consumer protection claims
Develop and implement legal strategies for investigations and regulatory enforcement actions
Manage complex litigation tasks, including:
Drafting motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
Conducting oral arguments and discovery
Preparing for and participating in depositions and witness interviews
Engaging in settlement negotiations and trial preparations
Represent public sector clients, including municipalities, states, and governmental organizations
Maintain rigorous ethical standards while acting as a legal advocate for public institutions
Travel as needed for litigation tasks, client meetings, or court appearances
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience with a focus on antitrust and/or consumer protection
Strong litigation skills, including legal writing, oral advocacy, and case strategy development
Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and good standing
Ability to manage complex, multi-party matters with minimal oversight
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Active Bar admission in at least one U.S. state
