We manage a diverse portfolio of companies across multiple industries, and we are looking for a skilled Web Developer to oversee, maintain, and improve the digital presence of our brands. This role is crucial in ensuring our websites function seamlessly, perform optimally, and effectively support marketing and business objectives.

Position Overview

The Web Developer will be responsible for maintaining all facets of our portfolio companies’ websites, including front-end development, UI/UX design, and back-end enhancements such as implementing tracking mechanisms. This role requires a strong foundation in web development, design, and analytics tracking to ensure our digital assets drive growth, engagement, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Website Maintenance & Development

  • Manage, update, and optimize websites for all portfolio companies.
  • Develop, test, and deploy new features to improve site functionality and user experience.
  • Ensure website security, uptime, and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across different websites and platforms.

Web Design & User Experience

  • Enhance website design and user experience for maximum engagement.
  • Work with marketing and branding teams to ensure consistency in design and messaging.
  • Optimize website responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

Back-End Development & Tracking

  • Implement tracking mechanisms (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, etc.) to measure key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure seamless integration of analytics tools with marketing automation platforms (CRM, email marketing, etc.).
  • Support API integrations and third-party tool implementations as needed.

SEO & Performance Optimization

  • Optimize websites for SEO and page speed performance.
  • Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Implement structured data, schema markup, and metadata optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in web development and design.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP , and familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and other CMS platforms .
  • Understanding of SEO principles and web performance best practices.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, and UTM tracking .
  • Ability to work with marketing teams to implement CRO (conversion rate optimization) strategies.
  • Experience integrating APIs and third-party tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with server-side development and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Basic knowledge of Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails for backend development.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools like HubSpot, Klaviyo, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Graphic design experience with tools like Figma or Adobe Suite.
