Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic Wage: $36.48 - $39.09/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 12 Hours Hours: 7:00pm – 7:00am (2-2-3 Schedule), 8:00pm – 8:00am (Friday – Sunday), 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Friday), 4:00pm – 12:00am (Monday – Friday), 12:00am – 8:00am (Sunday – Thursday) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities: - Describe machine controls, where trained, and their functions - Identify safety devices and emergency switches on all lines and equipment - Verify understanding of safety procedures - Describe start-up, operation and shutdown procedures for each piece of equipment - Operate and interface with on-line computers - Perform minor changeovers - Perform preventive maintenance tasks - Maintains records and documentation - Provide guidance, assistance, leadership and training in the performance of their duties Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Able to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision or direction or as part of team - 4-6 years in a technical role with demonstrated understanding of packaging or mechanical maintenance, changeovers and equipment troubleshooting - Preferred experience in high speed assembly and packaging operations for pharmaceuticals or medical devices - Proven success in changeovers and production coverage IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
