General Manager/General Sales Manager Job Description Oversee sales department, including vehicle sales, finance, inventory, pricing, and compliance. Achieve high customer service scores (NPS), sales and profitability targets, finalize purchase, trade-in sales agreements, etc. Manage inventory including merchandising, pricing, reconditioning. Manage consumer and vendor issues as needed and maintain proper staffing levels. Develops and maintains good working relationships with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel.
