Part-Time Graphic Designer (Remote – Austin, TX Preferred)

$30/hour | 4–8 hours/week | Freelance/Contract

Position Overview

We’re looking for a talented and reliable Part-Time Graphic Designer to join our team on a freelance/contract basis. This remote role is ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible environment and wants to be part of a high-touch creative studio that values great design, fast turnaround, and client-first thinking.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality visual assets including social media graphics, presentations, email templates, print collateral, and digital marketing materials
• Support branding projects with logo iterations, mood boards, color palettes, and visual identity elements
• Collaborate on content creation for social media, newsletters, and websites
• Assist with simple front-end website updates and design (bonus skill)
• Create assets using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and CapCut for reels or motion-based content
• Help with layout and production of e-magazines, brochures, and newsletters
• Stay aligned with brand aesthetics across client accounts
• Meet weekly deadlines and communicate effectively on timelines and deliverables

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design (agency or freelance experience a plus)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva , and CapCut
• Strong understanding of design for social media (especially Instagram)
• Familiarity with front-end web platforms such as Squarespace, Wix, Showit, or Webflow is a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Must be organized, responsive, and flexible to shifting priorities
• Austin-based preferred, but this role is fully remote

Nice to Have

• Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Flodesk, or ConvertKit
• Basic animation or video editing for social media
• Familiarity with Trello, Slack, or other collaborative tools
• Interest in small business, lifestyle, or wellness-focused brands
