Job Description

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide overflow support to attorneys and legal staff across multiple practice areas in their Columbus, OH office. The firm is interested in legal assistants who are wanting part time or full time. There is not many roles that offer this flexibility.

This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working across different areas of law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with legal document preparation, file management, scheduling, billing, and transcription
• Provide support in practice areas such as litigation, insurance defense, labor & employment, title insurance, and bankruptcy
• Perform electronic court filings and manage docketing tasks
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local court rules

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 5-7 years of litigation experience
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management systems
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities
• A dependable, adaptable work ethic and a desire to grow professionally
