Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid: 2–3 days in-office)

Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 + bonus & carry potential

Role Overview

We are looking for an intellectually curious, analytical, and driven Investment Analyst to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the partners, gain exposure to all aspects of the venture investing lifecycle, and help shape the future of our firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities across sectors. Track emerging technologies and market trends.
  • Diligence Support: Conduct deep market, competitive, and financial analysis. Assist in preparing investment memos and presenting to the investment committee.
  • Portfolio Support: Collaborate with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, research, and operational planning.
  • Thesis Development: Support development of sector-specific investment theses. Stay abreast of relevant tech, product, and market trends.
  • Internal Systems: Help refine internal databases, deal pipelines, and research processes to enhance firm productivity and decision-making.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or a startup in a strategic role.
  • Strong analytical skills and a deep curiosity about technology, startups, and venture investing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex ideas into concise insights.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, market sizing, and valuation.
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
