Chargeback Analyst/Fraud Payment Analyst (Hybrid) in Draper, Utah :

🔍 We're Hiring: Chargeback Analyst / Fraud Payment Analyst (Hybrid)

📍 Location: Draper, Utah, 84020

💼 Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM CST)

🏢 Hybrid Schedule: In-office Tuesday–Thursday

Duration: 6-month contract with strong potential for extension

💰 Pay Rate: $25–$27/hour

Are you passionate about tackling fraud and protecting payments? Join a high-performing Payment & Risk Operations team that is committed to excellence and accuracy. As a Chargeback Analyst , you'll play a key role in identifying disputes, managing chargebacks, and ensuring seamless transaction integrity — all while communicating with customers and collaborating cross-functionally.

🛠️ What You’ll Do:

  • Investigate and process Issuing Chargebacks (Outgoing Disputes)
  • Handle Merchant Disputes (Incoming Disputes), including writing representment letters
  • Communicate with customers via email and phone to gather necessary documentation
  • Meet strict dispute resolution deadlines and maintain milestone tracking
  • Manage accurate data entry for chargeback records and reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to solve payment discrepancies

🎯 What You Bring:

✅ Must-Have:

  • 2+ years of chargeback experience (either on issuing or acquiring side)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Ability to handle customer calls and communicate effectively
  • Background in payment services
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

💼 Nice to Have:

  • Experience using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong data analysis and investigative skills
  • Ability to independently solve complex transaction issues
  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking
