Our client is a property management firm. They seek a temp to perm Financial Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Handle financial forecasting and reporting, tracking operational metrics to provide actionable insights
• Analyze financial data and create financial models to support decision-making processes
• Run reports on financial performance and prepare materials for leadership reviews
• Assess past financial results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement
• Liaise with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Review financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts to identify discrepancies
• Manage the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Prepare analysis of financial trends and forecasts, and recommend actions for optimization

Requirements

• 5+ years of financial analyst experience
• Property management background
• Advanced budgeting experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Yardi and Excel (including pivots, lookups, and formulas)
