Job Description: Director of Operations – Full-Service Restaurants (Chicago)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day management and strategic growth of our full-service restaurant portfolio in the Chicago area. The Director of Operations will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving sales growth, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction across multiple locations. This leadership role requires a strong background in restaurant management, team development, cost control, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple full-service restaurant locations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Drive sales growth and improve profitability through effective marketing strategies, cost control, and operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and implement training programs to build and maintain a high-performing team at all levels.
  • Monitor and improve guest satisfaction through proactive guest engagement, quality control, and consistent service.
  • Foster a positive work environment and cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and recognition.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute local store marketing initiatives and community outreach.
  • Analyze performance data and KPIs to ensure objectives are met and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in multi-unit restaurant operations, with a proven track record of increasing sales and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Excellent financial acumen with a focus on cost management and profitability.
  • Deep understanding of the Chicago restaurant landscape and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
