Job Role: Customer Service Representative

Duration: 6+ Months ( With Possible Extension or Conversion)

Location: Winston Salem NC

Schedule: [Mon – Fri] [ 40hrs/week]

Description:

  • The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional support to customers in a fast-paced call center or order management environment.
  • This role involves handling inquiries across multiple communication channels, resolving complex service and delivery issues, and supporting sales efforts through effective communication and product knowledge. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, empathy, and efficiency to every customer interaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and web support platforms
  • Resolve escalated service issues, including delivery delays, order discrepancies, and product availability concerns
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems to manage tasks and customer interactions
  • Reference performance and service reports to inform customer communications and internal updates
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and resolutions
  • Provide product information and support upselling and retention strategies
  • Operate efficiently within a team environment while demonstrating the ability to work independently
  • Multitask across systems to ensure prompt and effective service delivery
  • Adhere to service standards and internal policies regarding delivery schedules and order minimums

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in high-pressure customer interactions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (IF ANY)

  • Prior experience in a call center, customer service, or inside sales role
  • Experience handling escalated customer complaints and using CRM or order management systems
