We are currently looking for a Construction Project Scheduler for our client located East of Pittsburgh, PA

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Scheduler to join our team for a high-profile mega project in East of Pittsburgh, PA. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of project scheduling experience, particularly in large-scale construction projects and data center developments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Primavera P6 , master schedule development, and will work closely with our clients Project Controls, reporting directly to the Project Controls Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Schedules: Create, manage, and update comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 , ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Master Schedule Oversight: Lead the development and management of master schedules, integrating all project phases and ensuring coherence across various workstreams.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly track project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather schedule inputs and ensure alignment.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed schedule reports, including critical path analyses, to project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential impacts on project delivery.
  • Onsite Presence: Maintain a consistent onsite presence (5 days per week) to facilitate real-time schedule updates and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in construction project scheduling, with a strong emphasis on mega projects and data center construction.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
  • Master Scheduling: Demonstrated experience in developing and managing master schedules for large, complex construction projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple scheduling tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with other project management tools and software is advantageous.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
