Job Description

Connell Foley is seeking a mid-level Associate with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our New York team. New York admission required, New Jersey admission a plus.

The ideal candidate should have experience in complex litigation in the following areas:

• Premises and general liability.
• Labor and employment issues (the defense of public and private employers in discrimination, wage, and retaliation/wrongful termination claims).

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• JD from an ABA accredited law school;
• Experience preparing pleadings and discovery; taking and defending depositions; drafting and arguing motions; identifying the appropriate strategies for handling cases; working with experts; and communicating with clients.
• Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Work well independently as well as effectively within a team;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills.
