If your teeth have small chips, deep stains and other imperfections, you might want to explore your options for improving your smile. Dental veneers are a popular way to give you the white and beautiful smile you’ve always wanted.

Dental veneers are thin porcelain shells, designed to fit over the front of your teeth. The porcelain material can be shaded to look like natural enamel, so the casual observer will think they are part of your natural teeth.

Two separate appointments are required to fit you with a set of dental veneers. At the first appointment Dr. Rai will examine your teeth, smile, bite and take a few X-rays to assess. It’s important to make sure there is sufficient strong enamel to bond the veneers to it. If one or more teeth lacks sufficient enamel, or it has been compromised by past dental work, Dr. Rai might recommend having that particular tooth restored by a crown.

Dr. Rai will then prepare the teeth for the veneers and take measurement of the teeth. This is sent to dental lab where your custom dental veneers are crafted.

When the lab has finished your dental veneers, you will be called in for a second appointment to cement the veneers in place.
